About the role
Wrights is on the hunt for a Senior Communication Manager with a consumer PR background who understands the quick service restaurant (QSR), retail, and events landscape inside out!
The ideal candidate will have led major earned media campaigns in Australia, managed multiple projects simultaneously, and have a knack for creativity.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Supports the SLT with growth opportunities
• Day-to-day client management and advisory
• Development of communication materials
• Works with the team to execute communication activities
• Manages budgets and timelines of ongoing work

 About you:

• Curious, creative and big thinker
• 5+ years of previous PR agency experience, QSR and / or retail PR background is essential
• Qualification in social sciences, public relations, communication, journalism or similar
• Solid industry stakeholder relationships
• Excellent client relations management skills
• A great eye for storytelling
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Organised with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
• Experience developing and implementing integrated communication proposals and strategies
• Proficiency in AI tools and practical applications
