Business Insider Australia will cease operating in March, following changes to its licensing arrangement with global publisher, Insider Inc. Under the changes, there will no longer be a dedicated Business Insider Australia website or team. Coverage of the region's business markets will be led by Insider's Asia-Pacific bureau, which is headquartered in Singapore.

A small number of editorial staff have been impacted by the decision. Business Insider Australia has confirmed it is working with staff to find opportunities within Pedestrian Group or the wider Nine Entertainment Co. group.
