CSIRO welcomes two new joiners to their team

The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), has welcomed two new members to their team:
  • Former journalist, Carla Howarth, has taken on the role of Communication Adviser (Oceans and Atmosphere) in Hobart. She makes the move after finishing up at TasNetworks as Communications Specialist. Carla first stepped into comms in June 2020, taking up a role with the Australian Government as Media Adviser to the Federal Assistant Minister for Forestry and Fisheries and Assistant Minister for Industry Development, following five years in journalism roles at the ABC.
  • James Fettes has been appointed Communications Adviser (Mineral Resources) in Melbourne. He joins from the Epilepsy Foundation of Australia, where he was Marketing and Communications Lead. Prior to that, he was Public Diplomacy Manager at the Australian Embassy in Thailand, and previously worked with the ABC as a reporter in Canberra.
