Lisa Davies, Editor of SMH, resigns
After five years leading The Sydney Morning Herald as Editor, Lisa Davies has announced her resignation. Lisa has led the newsroom since 2017 and has overseen a growth in audience from 5.5 million readers to 8.4 million, according to 2017 data from Enhanced Media Metrics Australia and the most recent figures from new measurement provider, Roy Morgan.
Cosima Marriner, who Telum recently announced as Deputy Editor of The Sydney Morning Herald, will act as Editor until a replacement is found.
