Ogilvy PR launches in New Zealand - Laura Platts to lead

Ogilvy PR has launched in the New Zealand market, with the Auckland office the fourth in the region for Ogilvy Network's PR arm. Laura Platts (pictured) has been appointed to lead the team, as Ogilvy PR and Copper Activations Lead. She's been working within parent company WPP since the start of the year, and prior to that was PR Account Director at ad agency, FCB New Zealand, leading their PR and Activations team for four years.

CEO of Ogilvy Network NZ, Kelly-Ann Maxwell, said the relaunch of the Ogilvy Network brand into the market had been well-received, and it was time to add a PR offering to their capabilities in New Zealand. “We’ve been working with Laura for some time now, and we’re thrilled to formalise her role with the newly created position. She brings strong experience into Ogilvy NZ having worked agency side in PR for nearly ten years now across Sydney and NZ.”
