Richard Barton departs Newgate Communications

Richard Barton has recently left his role as Greater China Managing Partner at Newgate Communications, eight years after joining the agency in 2012. Newgate Hong Kong Partner Kim Spear will manage the office's operations while the firm is on the hunt for an additional senior appointment to help develop a renewed strategy aimed at increasing the firm's presence in Greater China. Brian Tyson, Managing Partner of Newgate Communications in Australia, said, "Following the successful merger of SEC and Newgate last year, the firm, which includes 31 offices in 15 countries around the globe, has identified APAC and Greater China, specifically, as a key market and is committed to growing its presence here over the next three to five years."
