Tom Arup has been appointed as Climate Lead at the Centre for Policy Development in Sydney. He was previously leading communications and advocacy for the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) and the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change as Director of Strategic Communications.

Before moving into media roles with Save the Children Australia and The Australian Conservation Foundation, Tom spent the better part of a decade as a journalist with Fairfax, writing primarily for The Age, where he was Environment Editor.
