Paradigm Consulting Limited is seeking a skilled PR Consultant to support our team in delivering professional PR advisory services, crafting compelling narratives, and creating exposure opportunities for our clients. We are looking for professionals with experience in public relations and the media industry who can build strong media relationships and identify press opportunities to enhance our client’s brand stories. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, storytelling abilities, and a keen understanding of media strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients and address their inquiries effectively.
• Evaluate and develop comprehensive public relations strategies and plans tailored to client needs.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure PR campaigns align with clients’ strategic goals, growth plans, and new business opportunities.
• Leverage existing media relationships across broadcast, traditional, and online platforms to secure prominent placements.
• Pitch innovative ideas, amplify brand content, and stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities to provide timely and useful suggestions to clients.
• Write timely press releases and media kits while coordinating with the social media team to enhance clients’ brand awareness.
• Develop strategies to mitigate issues or crises to protect clients’ brand reputation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of PR or media experience, preferably within a fast-paced PR agency or media environment.
• Established relationships with media organizations and journalists.
• Experience in developing media campaigns, including press conferences and media interviews.
• Strong understanding of international media, as well as local media in China’s mainland and Hong Kong.
• Strong command of spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory.
• Excellent written skills in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
• Responsible, organized, and self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior Consultant role.
