Job Description

Conduct research and submit story ideas at daily meetings
Conduct unbiased and ethical reporting
Develop local sources for stories
Write and revise news under tight deadlines
Travel to different locations to investigate and report on approved stories
Interviewing people in a range of different circumstances
Seeking out and investigating stories via press releases and other media
Attending press conferences and a range of events
Working closely with the news team, photographers, and editors to create the best overview
Develop confidential and long-term relationships with news informants
Select testimonials and combine footage from different interviews to create a full overview of a story
Fact-checking the information given by a source
Ensure news informants' confidentiality
Preparing and presenting material 'on air' for both pre-recorded and live

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in any field.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Melayu
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Writing Skill.
