Accela PR is looking for a creative Account Manager who has the ability to support our clients with their PR and communications efforts. Our ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced individual who has a discerning eye for detail and likes to be resourceful. You will be instrumental in helping the team deliver our services to our clients and partners. We are looking for someone who will adopt a ‘business-owner’ work mentality and will be excited to juggle a variety of clients and projects.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader who is passionate about the clients we work with in the lifestyle space, and will truly enjoy being in a service provider and advisory role to our partners. The individual must be passionate about the impact PR can have on businesses and the importance that strong processes, timely and empathetic execution and detail orientation play in a high performing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading account strategy, with input from senior team members as needed
• Spearheading all client communication
• Corresponding with media for larger feature pitches & interviews
• Reviewing all client-facing documents, media pitches
• Assisting with new business leads where possible
• Overseeing and guiding junior team members 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Has 3 – 5 years’ experience in Communications/PR or related field
• Is a happy, positive person with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Is accountable and adopts a ‘business-owner’ work mentality
• Is detail-oriented and precise
• Can be flexible and has an ability to multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Has a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team
• Is passionate about the types of clients we work within the lifestyle space

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Communications or related field
• Minimum three years of working experience within an agency or in house role in PR Team
• Excellent written communication skills
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Confident and savvy networker
• Limitless energy and enthusiasm
• Organized with excellent time management skills
• Personal drive and passion for a variety of industries
