ACM temporarily suspends production of non-daily papers

Australian Community Media (ACM) has announced that the production of non-daily newspapers will be temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with employees stood down until the end of June. Printing sites in Canberra, Murray Bridge, Wodonga and Tamworth will be closed from 20th April to 29th June. Limited news coverage will continue on the websites of publications affected by the shutdown. The print editions of ACM's 14 daily papers, including The Canberra Times and the Newcastle Herald, are not impacted by this change.
