What services does Continuum PR offer?
Continuum PR has been on the scene for 6 years now, but we bring with us over 20 years of experience collectively. We offer an arsenal of integrated business communication services that revolve around messaging, brand ideation, design, digital, content, campaign planning, PR and social engagement.

What size is Continuum (based on headcount, client-base, practices, etc)?
We are a mid-sized agency and have a team of creatives, designers, content producers, and writers.

Where does Continuum PR have an office?
We are based in Kuala Lumpur.

Do you have a particular area of focus? (e.g. tech, hospitality, finance)?
Our main expertise lie in lifestyle and FMCG, however we do work on technology, financial services, healthcare and education sectors.

Who is the founder and why did they start the agency?
Continuum PR was founded by Michelle Bridget and Jonathan Yip. Continuum PR was conceptualised when the world of Public Relations seemed to stagnate in rapidly changing times. As change makers, our aim is to reinvigorate the way clients and partners communicate with their stakeholders - from the consumer on the street to the directors on the board.

Tell us about the leadership team.
Michelle Bridget has over 16 years of PR experience. She kicked off her career as a copywriter and then became a journalist for five years before finding her calling in PR. She has had a privileged view of the communications landscape having held leadership positions in successful consumer agencies as well led a breadth of global brands in her career.

Jonathan Yip brings a decade of experience shaping vital conversations in ways that matter. Educated in the UK and starting his career as a broker at London & Country Mortgages, specialising in consumer financial advice, Jonathan has worked on some of the most exciting brands in Kuala Lumpur such as Nike, Johnnie Walker, 100 Plus, Haig Club, Nobu, Ferrari, Volvo, MHD and Casio. Today he helps organisations tell their stories to successfully drive business results.

What is next for Continuum PR? What is the five-year goal?
Our goal is to be one of Malaysia’s top communications agencies. We want to be an agency where people come first; from our team to the people we work with. At Continuum PR, passion and creativity are prized and clients are celebrated, and we hope to contribute to the development of the communications industry as we move into the future.

In a sentence, describe your ideal relationship with a journalist.
A friendly, collaborative relationship that produces great content and engaging news.

Tell us about a campaign you are currently working on or are particularly proud of.
We are proud of all our campaigns.

Any key PR trends your agency is keeping an eye on?
Yes. Demand generation is definitely something we are looking at. With so much clutter out in the marketplace, leveraging inbound methodology to drive awareness and interest throughout the entire buyer and customer lifecycle will help build even sharper communications campaigns in order to stand out and be heard.

What skillsets do you look for in new hires?
The key skills we look for are confidence and the ability to have a conversation. PR is all about communicating so if someone is able to express themselves articulately and with conviction, that candidate is destined for great things!
