Alan Jones to retire from radio after 35 years

Alan Jones will step back from 2GB and 4BC's Breakfast show, and a 35-year-long career in radio broadcasting, at the end of May. Alan has hosted 2GB's Breakfast programme since 2001, and propelled the show to number one with the largest market share in the Breakfast slot in Sydney.

Ben Fordham will be taking over Breakfast, with a new Drive host to be appointed at a later date. There will be a new Breakfast programme launched on 4BC, with details to come.
