Business Insider sets up bureau in Singapore
Julie Gerstein, Lina Batarags and Katie Warren have relocated from New York to Singapore to set up Business Insider’s Singapore bureau. The brand covers breaking news, the business community, tech, culture, and lifestyle, with a focus on serving the site's hundreds of millions of global readers. Their mission is to inform and inspire their audience.
Julie Gerstein
The bureau is led by Julie Gerstein as Singapore Bureau Chief. In this role, she will develop a team to lead coverage of breaking news, business and tech trends, and culture coverage from the region. She would like to receive pitches about local and regional issues and events, and emerging trends across business, lifestyle, and culture.
Lina Batarags
Lina Batarags is the Managing Editor for Business Insider (Singapore) and writes and edits articles on hospitality, travel, tourism, and real estate, with a focus on the luxury sector.
Katie Warren
Katie Warren is a Senior Lifestyle Reporter for Business Insider’s Singapore bureau. She covers the lifestyles of high-net-worth individuals around the world, from luxury real-estate and travel to celebrity and billionaire spending trends.
