CGM rebrands to ReGen Strategic; Anthony Fisk becomes MD

CGM Communications is transforming into a specialist environmental, social and governance (ESG) advisory firm. Representing a repurposing, as well as a rebranding, of the business, ReGen Strategic will work with organisations committed to sustainability and high ESG standards.

The company will continue to provide its existing services, but will be investing heavily in its ESG and sustainability capabilities and networks.

Executive Chair and Founder, Daniel Smith, said the company had identified a gap in the market amid growing community, regulatory and investor expectations that organisations would collaborate with - and create value - for all their stakeholders: "Many of our existing clients are already doing great things in the ESG space, and not getting the recognition they deserve.  Others want to lift their performance, but don’t know where to start.

"Genuine stakeholder engagement is at the heart of strong ESG performance, and this is a capability CGM became famous for over the years."

Along with the repurposing and rebranding, ReGen Strategic has promoted Anthony Fisk to Managing Director. He first joined the company in 2017 as Executive Director.

Anthony said it was important for the repurposed business to lead by example: "As part of ReGen’s own ESG journey, we are excited to announce that we have been certified as a carbon neutral organisation through the Australian Government’s Climate Active program, representing a first for our industry in the WA market.

"This has been a really rewarding process for us to work together on, and we’re excited that we can use this experience to take other organisations on a similar journey."
