Culture News Editor appointed at The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald

Osman Faruqi has been appointed Culture News Editor at The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. He will be responsible for driving the culture team’s daily news agenda, delivering breaking news and trending stories across television, film, books, music, the arts, celebrity and pop culture.

Osman is currently Schwartz Media's Head of Audio, working across the publisher's 7am podcast, The Saturday Paper, and The Monthly. Previously, Osman has been ABC Life's Deputy Editor, Junkee Media's News Editor, and reported for ABC Radio National's Background Briefing. 

Osman will commence his new role in March.
