Elizabeth Bardwell has joined the team at Fonterra as Head of Communications, Australia. She moved to the dairy nutrition company from Swinburne University of Technology, where she was Director, Communications. Prior to that, Elizabeth was Director of External Relations at Bupa and Head of Communications, Australia at ANZ bank. She also held a range of senior communications roles at Telstra.

Elizabeth is replacing Sarah Counsell, who has been promoted to the position of General Manager, Communications for Fonterra’s recently formed Global Markets division. After many years with Fonterra, this move sees Sarah overseeing the communications across all of the company's global locations, excluding China.
