Gibbs Cadiz says farewell to Philippine Daily Inquirer after 18 years

Gibbs Cadiz has left the Philippine Daily Inquirer after working with the publication for over 18 years. Gibbs joined the broadsheet in 2003 as a Desk Editor in the lifestyle section. He would serve as a Senior Desk Editor and Theater Editor for Lifestyle, and an Editorial Writer for the paper’s opinion section, in the following years. In 2018, he was made Opinion Editor, overseeing the paper’s editorials and roster of columnists. Gibbs is taking a short break from the editorial world with plans to return to writing and editing by March or April this year.
