Finsbury has announced the appointment of Ginny Wilmerding as Partner in Hong Kong. The appointment comes as Finsbury accelerates the growth of its Asia business and is the latest of several senior hires that have strengthened Finsbury’s capabilities in China, Japan and the region as it prepares to merge with The Glover Park Group (GPG) and Hering Schuppener to be Finsbury Glover Hering.

Ginny will focus on developing Hong Kong, Mainland China and US-based clients, targeting regional and cross-border transactions, governance and activist situations, geopolitics and public affairs, reputation management, ESG and investor engagement. Prior to Finsbury, Ginny was with Brunswick Group for nearly 11 years, where she was a Partner. She has spent 17 years working in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
