Australian Associated Press (AAP) has confirmed the appointment of Lisa Davies as its next CEO. Lisa was formerly Editor of The Sydney Morning Herald. 

AAP's current CEO, Emma Cowdroy, will step down from her role due to family commitments. She will continue at the newswire in a senior executive position. 

Lisa will commence her new role on Monday, 14^th February.
