Marcus Strom takes time out from USYD to focus on Gelion

Marcus Strom has started a new full-time role with renewable energy storage innovation company, Gelion as Corporate Communications Manager. He has taken a year away from his Media Adviser role with University of Sydney to work with Gelion, established by University of Sydney Professor Thomas Maschmeyer, who has developed a breakthrough battery technology to help accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy. A former Science Reporter and Senior Editor with The Sydney Morning Herald, Marcus has been a Media Adviser to University of Sydney's Faculty of Science since 2017.
