Cody Lynch has been named General Manager, Marketing, Communications and Community at Commonwealth Games Australia. He moves from Victoria's Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, where he was most recently Manager, Communications and Media at the Office of the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Prior to that, he was Media Liaison Officer for Tokyo 2020 for the Australian Olympic Committee.

Cody has worked on a number of events in comms roles, including at Visit Victoria as Communications and Media Manager, Major Events and seven years at Athletics Australia.
