New hires, as GT Communications marks a year in Sydney

Corporate communications and PR agency, GT Communications, is celebrating the first anniversary of its Sydney office with three appointments to its team, supporting new client wins and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Kelly Oversby joins the Perth office as Lead Advisor, with a focus on B2B and corporate clients. She has more than 20 years' experience across mining, construction, not-for-profit and indigenous affairs, having run her own boutique agency for 12 years and managed APAC marcomms in-house for a multinational corporation.
  • Katie Rodwell joins as a Senior Advisor in Perth, focusing on B2C and reputation management. Katie has more than two decades' experience both agency and in-house in Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, working with brands such as American Express, Toyota, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, British Telecom, Motorola and Virgin Money.
  • Emilie Dye joins in the Sydney office focused on corporate communications, advocacy, policy development, issues management, and media relations. Emilie moved to Australia from Washington DC and spent two years at the Australian Taxpayers’ Alliance where she quickly rose through the ranks to become Policy Director.
The agency has also welcomed a number of new clients, including The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust, commercial and industrial property group, Goodman, national property group Investa, safety boot manufacturer Steel Blue and luxury hotel Pan Pacific Perth.

Additionally, the agency has partnered with former Seven Network senior anchor, Paula Voce, to bolster its media training services.
