New US Correspondent appointed at The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald

Farrah Tomazin has been appointed US Correspondent for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. Currently based in Melbourne, Farrah will relocate to Washington D.C. at the end of 2021 to commence the three-year posting in January 2022. She is currently a Senior Writer / Investigative Journalist for The Age.

Current US Correspondent, Matthew Knott, will return to Sydney at the end of the year, after four and a half years in the US. He will then start as National Correspondent for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, focusing on race, culture and identity. Matthew started as the US Correspondent temporarily in June 2018, before taking on the role permanently in August 2019.
