Peng Dawei has recently left his role as Bureau Chief of China News Service's Germany bureau and moved back to Beijing. He is taking on a full-time role as Deputy Director of the Research Institute of China News Network, where his main responsibilities include promoting the media outlet's cooperation with universities, think tanks and research institutes in China and overseas. He is also in charge of the "W.E. Talk" (West East Talk) project which involves international celebrities, former political leaders, experts and scholars in various fields. The project aims to facilitate dialogues between China and the Western world.
