Respecting te reo and Māori traditions in the media with Neil Waka
This week is Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), an annual celebration held across the country to celebrate and promote the revitalisation te reo Māori. The event was first established in 1975 to commemorate the presentation of the Māori Language Petition to parliament on 14th September 1972.
