Leon Communications, a specialist PR and communications consultancy focused on financial and professional services in the Asia Pacific region, has appointed Russell Wong as an Account Executive.

Russell joins the firm from CNBC Asia, where he was an Assistant Producer covering equities, commodities and macroeconomic developments. With two years of experience in financial journalism and media production, he has worked closely with anchors and industry leaders to deliver news coverage. Russell's experience includes producing live segments across Squawk Box Asia, Street Signs Asia and Capital Connection, managing real-time market data and coordinating on-air discussions with top-tier analysts and C-suite executives.

In his new role, Russell will contribute to media engagement strategies, content development and corporate messaging, while helping clients enhance their visibility and engagement.
