Ryan Willoughby has commenced a new role as Communications Lead - Ocean Science at New Zealand's National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA). Based in Wellington, he is welcomed to the team after finishing up a stint as Senior Communications Advisor at GNS Science.

Ryan's experience in comms includes prior roles at the Ministry of Health New Zealand, Institute of Environmental Science and Research, and Massey University.
