Seven West Media has signed a long-form agreement with Google and is about to finalise a similar long-form agreement with Facebook, following the introduction of the News Media Bargaining Code. The agreements are consistent with the Letters of Intent signed by the publisher with both companies in February, which will see Seven West Media provide news to both Facebook and Google News Showcase. The agreement with Google is for five years, and the agreement with Facebook will run for three years.
