Seven West Media to retire Community Newspaper Group brand

Seven West Media has announced changes to its local print news offerings, and will launch a new local paper under the PerthNow brand. The new title will be split into 10 localised editions, which will be published weekly. Seven West Media's current suburban print offering, Community Newspaper Group, will be retired upon the launch of the new PerthNow masthead.

The Sound Telegraph and the Mandurah Coastal Times will be unaffected by the changes.

The first edition of the PerthNow newspaper will be published 5th August.
