Shagun Karki Chetri launches PR agency
Former e27 Journalist, Shagun Karki Chetri, has launched makeraves, a Southeast Asia-focused PR agency that works with Web3, crypto and emerging tech businesses across the region. Currently, makeraves is working with IranDAO, a decentralised, autonomous organisation led by Iranian women to raise funds for social change.
On the launch, Shagun commented, “There is a lot of skepticism around the Web3 industry, and a lot of projects that eventually fail after the ICO ends. We aim to share well-researched, credible stories with the purpose of highlighting the growing potential of the Web3 industry and also to become a source of exceptional stories for journalists. Makeraves is created by a journalist for journalists.”
"I am mostly excited about Web3 gaming in the region. SEA is one of the fastest growing gaming markets and has a large online gaming community. It's also home to many crypto-users that could be an important entry point for mainstream adoption of Web3 and blockchain technology,” she added.
