The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Association has appointed Sonia Lourdes as Communications Specialist. Based in Singapore, she is tasked with enhancing WRO’s social media presence, developing content, fostering relationships with media outlets to attract educators, sponsors and stakeholders, and promoting robotics in STEM education worldwide.

Sonia has experience working with NGOs and organisations, including WWF-Singapore, DBS Bank Singapore, Bybit and the Singapore Children's Society. She also brings a solopreneur background in content strategy, digital marketing and public relations.
