The Advertiser appoints Editor at Large

Paul Starick has been announced as The Advertiser's new Editor at Large. Paul brings almost 30 years of journalism experience to this role and has worked in Adelaide, Canberra and New York. Most recently, he was a Chief Reporter across The Advertiser and Sunday Mail (Adelaide), and has previously served the masthead in a variety of roles, including as Head of News, Chief Political Reporter / Canberra Bureau Chief, Chief of Staff and Deputy Editor.

Reporting directly to the Editor, Matt Deighton, Paul will continue to break high-profile political stories, and help shape The Advertiser's political strategy in the lead-up to this year's Federal Election, as well as the 2022 State Election in South Australia. He will also help oversee a new-look state political reporting team.
