The New York Times appoints new Shanghai Bureau Chief (Shanghai)

The New York Times has appointed Alexandra Stevenson as its new Shanghai Bureau Chief. Alexandra previously took on a role with The New York Time's Hong Kong office. In her new role, she will continue covering business from her new base but will be taking on a different coverage portfolio exploring demographics, health care, and consumers. In the interim, she will continue to help lead the newspaper's coverage on Hong Kong.
