Thrive appoints Queensland Lead to drive growth and Olympic strategy

Thrive PR & Communications has appointed Liliana Molina as its new agency lead in Queensland. She joins the agency as Business Director from News Corp Australia, where she was most recently National PR and Talent Relations Manager, working with editors and marketing teams across titles including The Australian, Vogue, GQ, V Weekend, Sydney Weekend, Q Weekend, WISH, Body & Soul, Escape, The Herald Sun, The Daily Telegraph, and sports brands including SuperCoach and Code Sports.

Liliana brings 20 years of experience in regional and metropolitan newspapers, and media publicity, including as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Courier Mail, and as a Journalist at the Queensland Business Review and Bundaberg News-Mail.

In her new role, Liliana will be tasked with strengthening the delivery of integrated PR, content and social services to Thrive’s client portfolio and mentor local teams, supported closely by Associate Director, Amanda Gormley and reporting to Thrive’s National Executive. She will also be working on Thrive's Olympic strategy in the lead up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics.
