What’s happening in agency land?
GCI Health, a global speciality health and medical communications agency, has announced its APAC expansion into Japan and India. The growth complements GCI Health’s existing presence in Singapore and Hong Kong. GCI Health’s Japan offering is being led by Managing Director, Chitose Yamada. Chitose has over 20 years of healthcare communications experience and joins from Weber Shandwick, where she was Executive Vice President, Client Experience, Healthcare. She has also held leadership positions at Edelman and InVentiv Medical Communications.

The agency expands into India via Genesis BCW’s Pharma, Health & Wellness practice, forming GCI Health India. Hemali Bhutani, currently Senior Director, Genesis BCW, takes on the newly created position of Managing Director and Naina Siwach, currently Director, Genesis BCW, assumes the role of Deputy Managing Director.
