ABC NEWS appoints Head, Indigenous News

ABC NEWS has appointed Suzanne Dredge to the new role of Head, Indigenous News.

Suzanne, a Wiradjuri woman, joined the ABC in 2011 as an Intern. She has since held various roles, including as Supervising Producer of 7.30 and as a Producer with the ABC Investigations team.

In her new position, Suzanne will build and lead a stand-alone Indigenous Reporting Team, with a remit to expand and amplify the coverage of Indigenous Affairs across the broadcaster's news teams. Bridget Brennan, ABC Indigenous Affairs Editor, will be a key member of the new Indigenous Reporting Team.
