What will the lead-up to the election look like for you?
Like all newsrooms, the lead-up to the election is extremely busy for The Daily Aus (TDA). We’re committed to engaging young people in politics and breaking down politics in an accessible and digestible way. Every day we ask ourselves how we can engage people in a way they aren't elsewhere.

A big focus for us right now is trying to organise a youth-focused leaders’ debate, which Anthony Albanese has said yes to. We’re still waiting on a response from Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

What should people know about working with journalists on Election Day?
On Election Day, our team will be busy providing constant updates to our audience in bite-sized pieces of content. During the day we’ll be focused on breaking down the news as it comes in and then at night we plan to provide constant updates as the results come in.
