Denise Mackay has taken on the role of Director, Communications, Engagement and Events at Te Puni Kōkiri, the New Zealand Government’s principal policy advisor on Māori wellbeing and development. A former Head of Communications and Engagement at Wellington City Council, Denise has recently undertaken a number of strategic communications leadership roles on contract, including at the New Zealand Treasury, Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Ministry of Health New Zealand and Te Pūkenga.
