Medical Travel Media Awards 2021 announces winners

Medical Travel Media Awards 2021 has announced its winners in a virtual award ceremony on 9th December. Organised by Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC), it aims to recognise the local and international media’s instrumental role in promoting Malaysia as a safe and trusted healthcare destination for international healthcare travellers. 

The Star's Revathi Murugappan is crowned as the Medical Travel Journalist of the Year for Malaysia category, while the Medical Travel Journalist of the Year for International category goes to Gabriele Bettinazzi from Global Health Asia Pacific.

Best Print Medical Travel Report of the Year
Malaysia category: Stefan Pertz (Asian Buses)
International category: Gabriele Bettinazzi (Global Health Asia Pacific)

Best Online Medical Travel Report of the Year
Malaysia category: Chester Chin (The Star)
International category: Matthew Brady (Omnia Health)

Best Broadcast Medical Travel Feature of the Year
Malaysia category: Berita RTM
International category: Nomad Capitalist

Best Medical Travel Influencer of the Year 
Malaysia category: Ainul Rhyshikin Yusoff
International category: Katerina Susrianti
