Global tech challenger agency, Sling & Stone, has added three new APAC-wide clients, and ramped up its teams in Australia and Singapore.
  • AI platform, Dataiku, has appointed Sling & Stone to manage their communications strategy and execution across APAC, joining fellow VCCP Business agency, Method Communications, which recently became agency of record for Dataiku in the United States.
  • HR platform, HiBob, has employed Sling & Stone to manage communications and content to embed the expanding company into the Australian and Singaporean workplace.
  • The agency has been appointed by Equilibrium, a part of FiscalNote, a next generation carbon and ESG management platform.
Sling & Stone has also doubled the size of its Singapore team in recent months, with the addition of Anmol Khan Rai as Senior Account Executive, previously at Redhill, and Althea Rei Del Rosario as Account Manager, who joins from CROWD. The agency is also looking currently for an Account Director to join the Singapore team.

James Hutchinson, Global Head of Business at Sling & Stone, said: "These three businesses are at the cutting edge of massive changes happening across society - Dataiku in the rapid spread of usable artificial intelligence, HiBob in the upheaval happening in the way we work, and Equilibrium in how corporations address, report and act on climate change. Helping tell their story, and the stories of the companies they work with, across APAC is an exciting opportunity.

"After the launch of our Singapore office last year, we have seen tremendous growth and opportunity to bring global stories to the region, and tell local stories on the world stage. There is a massive appetite for challengers, disrupters and innovators to tell their stories, and we’re growing our team on the ground in Singapore and across the region to help meet that challenge."

Sling & Stone has grown rapidly in recent years to have 75 people across offices and hubs in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, servicing global and regional clients. The agency was recently named PRWeek 2022 Best Culture in Asia.
