What services does ALPAS offer?
ALPAS is a strategic communications and government relations consultancy, passionately driving change in the Philippines. We challenge familiar narratives with compelling new stories, bridging communication gaps between our clients and their respective audiences through our expertise.

We offer four main services: strategic communications, crisis management, government relations, and digital communications.

What size is the agency?
ALPAS has a lean team of 20 professionals. In just over a year, ALPAS has worked with over 50 reputable clients from a variety of industries and key demographics.

Where is ALPAS Consultancy located?
Our office is located in Greenhills, San Juan City, Philippines.

Do you have a particular area of focus?
As we are a young company, we have no area of focus and would like to work with different industries.

Who is the founder and how big is the team?
ALPAS was co-founded by crisis communications expert, Marzie Marzan, and government relations veteran, Atty. Carlo Escalada in June 2020 amidst the global pandemic. It was their way of heeding the call for bespoke strategic communication services in our country.

Tell us about the leadership team.
Our leaders have over 30 years of combined experience in corporate communications, crisis management, branding and marketing, and government relations.

Marzie was a member of the Office of the President’s communication team from 2004 to 2010. After working in government, she moved to the private sector and established her career as a crisis communications expert. Meanwhile, our Chief Strategic Officer, Atty. Escalada has over 15 years of experience in government relations, having worked in the Office of the President, Senate of the Philippines, and national and local government units.

What is next for your agency? What is the five-year goal?
ALPAS is a proudly Filipino communications consultancy that passionately endeavours to drive meaningful change in our country. We just celebrated our first anniversary last June and we are proud of what we have accomplished in a year. In five years, we hope we will have created a reputation as a company that provides excellent work, creative solutions, and passionately champions love for our country.

In a sentence, describe your ideal relationship with a journalist.
We strive to foster long-term, valuable relationships with journalists, grounded on mutual respect and trust.

Tell us about a campaign you are currently working on or are particularly proud of.
We are proud of every campaign that we have worked on since each one of them brings forth different challenges for us.

Any key PR trends your agency is keeping an eye on?
We saw how brands have used their talent and resources for the common good during the pandemic. We believe that brands should always be cognizant of the current issues happening around them in order to find ways to help and give back.

As a team, we’re convinced that purposeful PR grounded on the realities we face each day drives impactful brand stories to last beyond a lifetime.

What skill sets do you look for in new hires?
We look for passionate individuals who are not afraid to express themselves. Everyone in our team are guided with the following values:
  • Mahusay - excellent in communication, always challenging ourselves to be better
  • Makabayan - genuine love for the country, who aims to be a catalyst for change
  • Madiskarte - willing to think out of the box and provide creative solutions
