Changes to The Australian's business team
- Kylar Loussikian has been appointed Business Editor at The Australian, after working as the publication's National Chief of Staff since May 2020. He will be responsible for the national broadsheet's business coverage, as well as The Australian Business Network that shares premium business content with News Corp's metro papers and digital platforms. Kylar was previously the Editor of The Sydney Morning Herald's CBD column, and worked as a National Political Reporter for The Daily Telegraph before that.
- Kylar takes over from Eric Johnston, who served as the newspaper's Business Editor for seven years and oversaw the launch of The Australian Business Network in 2020. Eric has been appointed Associate Editor of The Australian.
- Amber Plum will continue as Deputy Business Editor of both The Australian and The Australian Business Network. Her role will also focus on enhancing digital publishing and performance.
