James Crabtree has been appointed as the Executive Director, Asia for The International Institute for Strategic Studies, taking over as head of the global think tank's Singapore-based office in April. Currently, an Associate Professor at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, and formerly a Journalist with the Financial Times in numerous roles, James will play a key part in organising the annual IISS Shangri-La Dialogue summit, scheduled to take place in early June.
