New CEO for PR Institute of Australia

The Public Relations Institute of Australia has appointed Louise Harland-Cox as CEO. She joins the industry body from the Australian Meat Industry Council, where she was General Manager, Member Services.

Louise brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role in membership organisations in Australia and the UK. She has worked across varied industries, including financial services, charities, medical education and agriculture. 

Louise commented on her appointment: “The Public Relations Institute of Australia represents such a wealth of history and experience in the PR and communications field. I’m thrilled to be leading the organisation at such a pivotal time for the industry, and look forward to building upon such a rich heritage to create outstanding value for our members".

Leigh McClusky, National President of the Public Relations Institute of Australia said of Louise’s new role: “I am confident that Louise’s appointment heralds a new era of member growth and member value for the PRIA”.
