New Zealand Listener appoints new Editor

Are Media has announced the following editorial changes at the New Zealand Listener:
  • Pamela Stirling has finished as Editor of the New Zealand Listener after more than 16 years at the masthead. Pamela was the youngest person ever to write a cover story for the publication and was awarded numerous accolades for her business, crime and investigative journalism at the title. Under Pamela's leadership, the New Zealand Listener has won more awards than any other magazine in the country. After taking a break, she will remain involved with the magazine in a weekly advisory role.
  • Karyn Scherer, a former Deputy Editor at the New Zealand Listener, has taken over as Editor. Karyn's previous roles include Founding Editor of NZME’s The Business, Investigations Editor and Senior Reporter at The National Business Review, and Editor of the Daily Post.
