Red Havas launches AU Public Affairs offering, headed by Lawrence Muskitta
Red Havas Australia has appointed Lawrence Muskitta to lead a newly created public affairs offering.
The new offering spans government relations, stakeholder engagement, patient/consumer advocacy, public behaviour change campaigns, policy monitoring and intelligence gathering, crisis management and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Red Havas as Head of Public Affairs, Lawrence was based in Brussels for three and a half years, most recently as Public Policy Manager, Stakeholder Engagement EU Affairs for Facebook. Before moving to Europe, he managed digital campaigns for clients in Australia such as the Australian Greens, Australian Medical Association, Defence South Australia and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Lawrence said global issues like climate change, new technologies and shifting geopolitics are radically shaking the Australian business environment, with the debate moving increasingly online: "Our team takes a digital-first approach to public affairs, seeing digital communities as central, not just an add-on to the political and media conversation."
