Sky News Australia signs content agreement with Southern Cross Austereo

Sky News Australia and Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) have signed an agreement to broadcast many of Sky News Australia's shows across SCA's largest regional markets on a dedicated new channel. The channel, which will be called Sky News Regional, will launch on Sunday, 1st August. The free-to-air, 24-hour news channel will feature programmes from the Sky News Australia and Fox Sports News teams.

Programmes in Sky News Regional's line-up will include AM Agenda and Afternoon Agenda, Credlin, The Bolt Report, Alan Jones, and Paul Murray Live. Sky News Regional will also broadcast a new live Breakfast programme on weekdays, details for which will be announced in due course.

Sky News Regional will air across 17 of SCA's regional markets, including Cairns, Townsville, Canberra, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Ballarat, and more.
