Telum vox pop: Thoughts and wishes on National Press Day
By Muhammad Arby
The media industry has been affected by the COVID-19 virus for the past year. National Press Day 2021 is expected to give a new hope for Indonesian journalists.
tvOne's Reporter, Ramond Ardians Rajasa, hopes that the media industry can survive amid the virus pandemic. Likewise with Sheila Muthia Amanda Dasrul from MNC TV.
"Hopefully the media industry can revive again," said Amanda.
Bayu Koosyadi from Elshinta News and Talk Radio 90 FM highlighted that journalists' income in Indonesia is far from being feasible. "In general, it is relatively small," he said.
Meanwhile, Jawa Pos's Journalist, Ragil Putri Irmalia, said that journalism is a field of work that has a high risk. Ragil also encouraged her fellow journalists to continue working and pay attention to their health.
