About the role:
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced State Editor to join our team.
Reporting to the State News Director, the State Editor will be responsible for the leadership of the WIN Television newsroom. You will liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to produce our highly successful regional bulletin.
You will be responsible for preparing the daily news rundowns, subbing reporter scripts and fact checking bulletins before they go to air. You will also act as the first point of contact for advice for other reporters and camera operators on the road.
This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term position from Monday to Friday, and can be based at any of our sites across Victoria.

- A well-rounded knowledge base of regional news
- At least three years' experience in a newsroom, where you were producing
- The ability to lead others and provide sound advice
- Knowledge of Victorian Media Law
- Superior communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent time management skills and excel at working in a deadline-driven environment
